About the event
The webinar will be led by Professor Kenneth Amaeshi, a leading expert on Sustainable finance and Africapitalsm. Africapitalism is an emerging economic and management philosophy for sustainable development underpinned by four key areas: a sense of Progress and Prosperity where financial profitability and social wealth are combined to create the absence of poverty and presence of conditions that make life more fulfilling. Parity and Inclusion whereby the benefits of progress and prosperity are shared equitably, and growth is inclusive. Peace and Harmony where the simultaneous pursuit of profit and social wealth is primarily a quest for harmony, and peace. Place and Belonging where places (not necessarily markets) hold value for people’s identities.
