Professor Kenneth Amaeshi, the Chief Economic Adviser to the Imo State Government, Professor of Sustainable Finance at the European University Institute, Italy, and Professor of Sustainable Business at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom, has joined the Scientific Committee of the European DIGITAL SME Alliance.
The European DIGITAL SME Alliance is the largest network of ICT small and medium enterprises in Europe, representing more than 45,000 companies.
DIGITAL SME is the joint effort of 30 national and regional SME associations from EU member states and neighbouring countries to put digital SMEs at the centre of the EU agenda.
The DIGITAL SME Scientific Committee is a forum for leading academics to establish a dialogue with DIGITAL SME on its key priority areas.
The Committee creates a community of academic experts supporting DIGITAL SME´s evidence-based approach to advocacy. Within the scope of the Committee, its members are encouraged to engage on an individual level with DIGITAL SME.
The Committee is a unique opportunity to advance this vision at a European level, and for its members to engage in fruitful exchanges with like-minded experts - with options to interact bilaterally with the DIGITAL SME community, and pursue joint research projects or funding opportunities.
Professor Amaeshi is an expert in sustainability and will contribute his expertise to the sustainable digitalisation agenda of the EU Digital SME Alliance.
